This is a 4-week class. Students need to register by February 1, 2024.

If your child is new to or already enjoys the art of drawing and sketching, this class is for them. Students will start learning the fundamentals of drawing and practice, using those skills every week, as they improve with guidance from a very experienced instructor/artist. In this class they will cover Mark Making, Line, Value, Shape & Form, Wire Drawing Exercise, Proportion, Space, Texture, Principles of Design, Contour line drawing exercise from a still life, Review Skills and Technics, Start Multi-Week Project, Group Critic.

If your child already has some experience, our talented instructors will help them further their talent and show them ways to improve and perfect their talent. A second month will be available for those who may need additional time to practice their learned techniques and gain or confidence before moving up to the Intermediate class, currently available on Thursdays.

Open to only 8 children at a time for better one on one guidance and experience in a small classroom environment. Seats are first come, first serve. Only paid seats are confirmed seats.

Each student when starting is required to purchase a starter supply bag. The bag is an additional $45.00 and can also be purchased online. Their supply bag will be ready for them when they arrive to the first class. This bag will also be used in following class levels if they choose to continue after completing the Beginner’s Class.
